About The Vicarage

House, later C18, small ashlar block with white mortar joints to front, rubble stone to rear, with stone tiled roof, coped gables and end wall stacks. Two storeys and attic, 3-window range with moulded cornice and parapet. Paired 12-pane sashes in architraves and single 12-pane sash to centre first floor. Six-panel door with overlight in architrave with shallow hood on curved brackets. Rear has ashlar 2-storey canted bay to left and rear wing to right with ridge and east end stacks. Twelve-pane sashes to first floor south side, one 3-light flush bead-moulded window to east end wall. On north side of wing is addition with hipped roof and north side stack. Interior has plain stair with column newels and ramped handrail.
