Former police station, now house, remodelled 1889 from pair of early to mid C18 houses. Rubble stone with stone slate roof, two storeys, casement windows in cambered-head brick surrounds. Two sections, larger range to left has coped gables, end stacks and 3- window range, casement pairs above, triple casements below and centre door. Slightly lower 2-window range to right has triple casement and door below, first floor casement pair with date plaque TB 1734 / 1889 to right. Main range has moulded Tudor arched stone fireplace of C17 type at north end. Included for group value.
