GREAT SOMERFORD HOLLOW STREET The Old Maltings
House, late C18 or early C19, roughcast with slate hipped low- pitched roof and end stacks. Three storeys, three-window range of 16-pane sashes and cambered-head centre door in late C19 roughcast porch with chamfered angles. A two storey two-window range of 16- pane sashes to right. Said to have been built c1780 and called the Red House, and to have been owned from 1783 by H. Heath, maltster, and from 1802 by J. Parsloe whose family ran a brewery from here during C19. (P.
