House, c1845, probably by J. Thomson for J. Neeld of Grittleton, squared rubble stone with slate hipped eaves roof and centre stack. 1½ storeys with centre gable and unmoulded mullion windows, one 2- light above, one 3-light to centre ground floor and depressed- arched flush porch each side. Raised plinth. Not illustrated in J. Thomson’s 1845 designs for Alderton, though a single cottage is marked on village plan.
