Masonic Hall, 2 bays of 3-bay later C18 house (third bay part of No 41a q.v.) with attached hall behind, possibly C18 altered in early to mid C19. House range is ochre-washed rubble stone with stone tiled roof, 2-storeys with flush cyma-moulded 2-light window over 6-panel door to right, former centre bay of house, dripstone over door. To left, projecting hipped-roofed section with 2-light flush cyma-moulded window to east side over flush-panelled door in architrave with large open pedimented hood on brackets. Masonic symbol under pediment. Renewed 2-light window to right. Hall range runs west from rear north-west angle, rubble stone with stone tiles, one buttress, moulded C19 Gothic two-light window with pointed lights and circular-section mouldings. Painted glass with river scene and birds. To right, clock in moulded circular frame. Similar C19 Gothic window to west end with 2-light C18 flush cyma- moulded window in apex. North side two 2-light C18 windows at upper level and central C19 Gothic window. Said to have been a billiard room for Beechfield House (q.v.).
