Mid C19 classical. 3 storeys, 3 windows. Red brick with stone quoins (forming long and short work on east side). Stone plinth, lintel bands and dressings. Cross windows with casements, tripartite at sides on ground and 1st floors with stone mullions; round headed lst floor in centre, at right angles to which hangs the inn sign with iron stays and wrought iron-work. Projecting bracketted eaves with pendants to shallow pitched double ridge roof. 4 ashlar gable end chimneys. Central projecting porch on slim cast iron columns with leaf ornament, cut brackets to cornice with pendants, 2 sides with cast iron railing. Stone flagged level at front.



Nos 8 to 28 (even) form a group.
