About Stanley Mill
BREMHILL STANLEY ST 97 NE 8/65 Stanley Mill II Mill house, mid C19 incorporating earlier work, ashlar, in small blocks, and ironstone rubble, with slate roof, coped gables, ashlar ridge stack and end stacks. Two storeys, four-window range, the bay to right in rubble stone possibly earlier but refenestrated to match the symmetrical ashlar range to left. Stone mullion windows with small-paned casements. Range to left has 2-light windows each side, and single light to first floor centre over 6-panel door in gabled ashlar porch. Rubble stone section to right has similar 2- light window each floor. North west rear wing, extended in C20. Rear of main range has two cambered-head casement pairs each floor and original leaded lights.
