Stable/dovecote. C18, probably mid altered C19/C20. Rubble brought to course with ashlar quoins and dressings; graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 1 x 2 bays with side-outshut addition under catslide roof on right. Front: quoins on left. Large double board door with rectangular opening above, on the left side of which is the line of quoins which originally formed the right-hand side of this wall. To left of these is board door in moulded, quoined surround, with a tripartite lintel set above the existing lintel; latter window to left; hatchway with board door above; and in gable 5 tiers of square bird holes with ledges, set in triangle. Large coping stones below coping with gableted finial. Similar eaves treatment to rear. Left return blind. Right return (outshut) of coursed squared stone with window to right. Interior: inside outshut is quoined, timber-lintelled doorway into dovecote which has a single tie-beam truss with ‘V’-struts.
