House, medieval and C17, rubble stone with stone-tiled roofs. One- and-a-half and 2 storeys. South front has ridge stack, gabled cross-wing to right and 2 dormer gables to left. Cross-wing has coped gable and 3-light ovolo-moulded mullion window to each floor with hoodmoulds, dormer gable to left possibly new or rebuilt over C20 door and, to left, 2-light recessed chamfered mullion window with hoodmould to dormer gable over 2-light recessed cyma-moulded window. East side has single light to side of cross-wing, projecting gabled wing with coped gable, ridge stack and renewed or new 2-light ovolo-moulded windows with hoodmoulds to east end, and long range beyond running north with coped north gable and C20 mullion-and-transom windows to east side. Converted from a barn. Original row of dove-openings in rear wall. Former open hall with arched-braced collar roof within dated to C14. (Wiltshire Buildings Record).
