The 3-storey hipped northern range is set sideways-on to the road: on the road frontage, 3 blocked windows to each storey, divided by plain pilasters topped by linking segmental arches. The north front has an 8-window range: the 1st and 2nd storey windows are cast-iron small-paned casements with a central opening light; wide dividing pilasters topped by linking segmental arches. The ground storey windows are similar, but with wide flat stone arches above and projecting stone sills. Recessed, slightly off-centre entrance door. The 2nd storey has 11 cast-iron windows like those in the north range. Dividing pilasters with segmental-arched heads rise from above the plinth. The south range contains a row of 3 rectangular drying towers with their pyramid roofs now capped. 2 of these roofs are linked, and 2 lower 2-storey ranges project eastwards from them with paired hipped roofs. A 4-window range to the upper storey on the street frontage only, and a 6-window range along the east side, all windows with rectangular stone surrounds. The 3rd drying tower at the rear has a 3-storey range extending eastwards from it. INTERIOR: not inspected.
