Former farmhouse, now detached house. Early C17 with C19 alterations and late C20 restoration. Brick to sub-structure and south-west end wall, timber framing with colourwashed render above and stone slate roof with central ridge brick stack. T-shaped plan with central staircase tower on north front; 2 storeys and attic. All windows were being replaced with single, 2 and 3-light casements at time of resurvey (July 1986); original timber frame preserved beneath render and visible to either side of staircase tower. Tower has C20 plank door; 2 lean-to extensions to east and west ends. Casement fenestration to south front and 3 dormers. Interior. Several bar-stop-chamfered beams and Tudor-arched fireplace in ground floor room to left.
