CORSHAM THE CHEQUERS ST 87 SE 1/21 Chequers Farmhouse GV II
Farmhouse, early C19 limewashed rubble stone with stone tiled roof, coped gables, end wall stacks and ridge stacks. Two storey, 4-window range of 12-pane sashes in flush stone surrounds. Door with overlight in flush surround with hood on brackets. Later C19 north-west ‘L’-plan rear wing with eaves roof and 4-pane sashes. North east attached stable with coped gables, segmental-arched upper loading door, central door and window each side.
