Farmhouse, C16 and C17, timber-frame and rubble stone with stone slate roof, half-hipped to west, 2 ridge stacks and coped gable with end stack. l½ storeys, 2 sections under single roof, C16 to east with unusual timber-framing within rubble stone end walls, C17 to west in rubble stone with through passage adjacent to earlier range and 2 storey gabled porch. Earlier range has 2 gabled timber-framed bays each side, with rubble stone between on front and close-studded framing continued between to rear. The gables are at eaves over a projecting wall-plate and supported on wall- posts carried up forward of main wall-face from stone corbels. Rubble stone plinth. Casement windows, some original chamfered timber mullions to rear. Rear gables have deep eaves on curved brackets. Similar timber-framed dormer on roof slope of hipped end-wall lean-to. C17 range has moulded oak frames to through passage doors each side. Front-2-storey porch, roughcast upper floor with deep eaves, carried on 2 ashlar square piers. To left, a dormer gable above, 2 windows and end door below. End wall has boarded loading door. Rear has dormer gable with timber-mullion 3-light window over casement and catslide roof to right carried over ground floor projection. Interior: original range has heavy intersecting chamfered and stopped beams to left of through passage. Plank doors with original ironmongery throughout.
