This is a description of a house called the Leigh Upper Waterhay. The house is made of limestone and has a stone slate roof. It is two stories tall with a attic and has a brick extension on the left side. There is a central door with a Boarded door and windows on either side. There are also two hipped dormers. The interior has moulded ceiling beams and close studded walls.

Farmhouse. C18 or C19. Limestone rubble with ashlar doorcase and windows. Stone slate roof. Two-storey and attics, 3 bays, extended right by 1 bay, single-storey and attic, and brick extension to left. Early-mid C20 central boarded door in moulded stone doorcase with stepped hoodmould. Flanking slit lights. Contemporary 3-light stone mullioned windows, also with label moulds. Two hipped dormers and left gable stack. One dormer to right extension, which also has gable to rear, extended back as 2- bay brew/bakehouse with projecting oven in gable. To rear of main building 2-storey wing, with later link, and further tiled outbuilding with external steps. Interior has moulded ceiling beams and close studded walls to central stair hall and room to right.
